## Keep password hashing on the server

`@playstack/auth/node` supplies a password hasher backed by the optional `argon2` peer dependency. It uses Argon2id and keeps encoded parameters in the stored verifier so future policy changes can trigger rehashing after a successful sign-in.

The Node-only entrypoint stays separate from the Worker-safe authentication core. Applications own password policy, breach checks, rate limits, and the deployment resources required by their selected hash parameters.
