Playstack distinguishes package licensing from package availability, registry access and the site's privacy policy. This overview does not change any package licence or grant access to unpublished or paid releases.
Free packages: MIT
The Free baseline uses the MIT licence. You can read the full MIT licence text, including its copyright notice and conditions. Check the licence included with the exact package version you install; a Free classification is not proof that a release is publicly available.
Pro packages: commercial draft
Draft — not yet reviewed by counsel. The existing Playstack Pro License is Draft 0.1, dated September 19, 2026. It is published here for review, not as finalized commercial sale terms.
Read the Playstack Pro License draft. This is the same draft source currently used for paid package licence files, not a new or approved agreement.
The draft still requires legal review, a legal entity name, governing law and approval before packages are sold under it. It also needs reconciliation with the current intended renewal, retained-release access and seat policies. Do not treat either the draft or this overview as confirmation that those commercial terms have been finalized.
The Pro catalog identifies assigned paid capabilities. Plus remains planned, without an exclusive package allocation. The pricing page describes the intended model; public checkout is not enabled. Requesting preview information or confirming an email does not create a paid licence or grant Pro package access.
Check the package and its dependencies
Use the licence shipped with your selected package version when reviewing its terms. Third-party dependencies carry their own licences; this page does not replace them. The open-source acknowledgments identify projects used by Playstack, and package access guidance explains how tier classification differs from release availability and installation.
The full-text files linked above are generated from the same canonical sources as the package licence files and checked for exact parity in CI. Publishing a copy of the Pro draft does not approve it or activate checkout.
Privacy and questions
The Privacy Policy describes how the service handles information. Package licensing is separate from that policy and from website Terms of Service; this page is not a substitute for those service terms.
