@playstack/licensing-issuer
Server-side license issuance, activation codes, device seats, refresh rotation, deactivation, and revocation.
Pro. Covered by the Playstack Pro License. Registry access is required; check preview availability before installing. See package access.
@playstack/licensing-issuer turns application-owned purchase policy into signed, distributable licenses. It does not process payments, expose routes, send mail, or decide product terms.
import { createLicensingIssuer } from '@playstack/licensing-issuer'
const issuer = createLicensingIssuer({
persistence,
authorizer: applicationLicensePolicy,
distribution: transactionalDeliveryOutbox,
signer: kmsBackedEd25519Signer,
secrets,
responseVault,
events,
clock,
ids,
})Activation codes are returned once and stored only as keyed digests. Activation and refresh responses are sealed for exact idempotent retries. Private key custody remains behind LicenseSignatureSigner; LicenseResponseVault must encrypt response material at rest.
Use @playstack/licensing-issuer/prisma for the managed PostgreSQL contract. The application owns migrations, entitlement-to-license policy, HTTP routes, distribution delivery, and key management.
